SPORTS AND FITNESS FACILITIES
Our sports and fitness facilities are surprisingly extensive. We have a large, wood-floor gymnasium for soccer, basketball and volleyball tournaments. Every week we organize sport competitions. If you are interested in organizing a team, or if you would like to be included in one, please contact a member of our entertainment team.
Our weight room has treadmills, bicycles, stair climbers, free weights and Universal equipment. In a studio adjoining the weight room, we offer yoga classes five days per week, and stretching classes. All that you need to relax after skiing in Chile.

OUTDOOR HEATED POOL & JACUZZI
Our outdoor heated pool and Jacuzzi are favorite afternoon destinations, and ideal spots for kicking back with the beautiful view of the Andes. They’re even more fun when it's snowing! Don’t forget your bathing suit since a dip in the pool or Jacuzzi is a truly unforgettable experience. Our ski resort is located in the heart of Chilean Andes.

SAUNA & MASSAGE
Pamper yourself after a hard day on the slopes! When you arrive at Portillo, be sure to sign up for a couple massages and then build your après-ski around this relaxing delight. A massage will help you after an intense day of ski sports. For the perfect spa afternoon, take a yoga class, lay in the sauna, sit poolside chatting with other guests and marveling at the beauty of the scenery. Head in for your massage. Find yourself in a state of euphoric relaxation, just letting your mind drift. Forget about work and stress.

We invite our guests to meet in the living room on Sunday evening before dinner for our welcome cocktail party. This is a great way to meet other guests, our Ski School staff, and many of your Portillo hosts. Skiing in Chile is a friendly experience.

INTERNET ROOM
While we recommend that guests leave their job behind during their stay, we do provide a comfortable ambiance to work or just check your emails in our modern Internet room equipped with flatscreen monitors, high-speed connection, and a printer. Guests are welcome to play computer games, chat with their friends or send e-postcards from Portillo. The Internet room also has telephone lines to connect from your laptop and since 2004 the entire hotel has been enabled with a Wi-Fi connection. This service requires an additional charge.

CINEMA
The cinema features movies in the late afternoon, shown in English and Spanish. The title and hour are announced daily on the information board in the lobby. In the afternoons video analysis of Ski classes is held, and at certain times TV is shown. Sunday afternoon mass is also held in the cinema. Our cinema allows you to enjoy movies

On sunny days there’s no better spot than our wraparound terrace! Order a cocktail from one of our waiters, and stretch out on one of the chaise lounges, soaking up the view and the rays.

A variety of board games are available in the living room of the hotel, including backgammon, chess, dominoes, and checkers. If you are interested simply contact a member of our staff in the living room. |

GAME ROOM
Portillo's game room is open to all ages and features entertaining games such as pool, ping-pong, and foosball. There is even a rock-climbing wall available. We have a snack bar located in the game room which sells bottled water, soft drinks and candy.

SKI TALKS BY OUR SKI SCHOOL DIRECTOR
Portillo’s Ski School Director, Jesús Puente, gives an informative talk about ski equipment and ski techniques every Sunday evening in the cinema. Our guests have found these talks enjoyable and worthwhile. Following the talk, please join Jesús and the rest of the Ski School at the Welcome Cocktail in the living room. |

SLOPE ACCESS & SKI CHECK
Hitting the slopes is easy because they're right outside the hotel's doors! Each time you enter the hotel, leave your skis and boots with the ski valets on the lower level – a hassle-free way to store your gear. |

TORCHLIGHT PARADE
On Fridays at 8pm, the Ski School performs an entertaining torchlight parade. The parade is best seen from the sundeck terrace outside the living room. Sometimes, if you ask, the Ski School might let you join them in the descent! |

SOL DE PORTILLO GUEST RACE Every Thursday at noon all Portillo guests come together to match their skills against our best racers. You don't have to be a good skier to participate, however, and that's what makes this race so entertaining. The “Sol de Portillo” race can be enjoyed as much by our beginners as by our experts, because your level of skiing is not important if you want to have fun in Portillo, Chile. We will calculate your time as a percentage of the starter's time. Gold, silver and bronze medals are awarded in a lively ceremony in the hotel on Thursday evenings in the living room. Once you arrive in Portillo, please sign in for the "Sol de Portillo" race at the Ski School Office.

SKI & SNOWBOARD VIDEO ANALYSIS
Improve your level of skiing, watching some interesting videos. We use the cinema in the afternoon to show videos of our guests skiing or snowboarding during their classes or during the “Sol de Portillo” race. Members of our Ski School are often on hand to give technical tips.

HEALTH CLINIC
You can practice ski sports in Chile and be sure that you will receive health assistance if you need it. Two doctors and two nurses provide first-aid, general medicine and orthopedics. The health clinic is located on the lower level, and in case of emergency health services can be provided 24 hours a day.
